Can't take what they don't know I have. This is why they want to force background checks for private sales. Gun confiscations would be impossible. Prove I didn't sell my guns to someone else. There's no way they could search the homes of known gun owners in a way to make sure they didn't have any, it would take decades. Looking around the room I'm in I can see many ways to hide a pistol that would make them have to search every inch of the room to make sure they found it. They'd have to dismantle a good couple dozen things. Hell, if I took the pistol apart there are dozens of places I could hide the parts.
