Reminder, this is a risk it all move, but it will send a very clear message that they are not going to do this without massive repercussions. Also, this could easily lead to a standoff. Citizens don't fair well with a militarized government standoff.

There was no "just give them an old gun and they go away." They removed the people from their homes and took all the guns in the house. They also did the same in all the houses that were already evacuated.

There is No 'emergency' ( The WHO) that supersedes the Bill of Rights and the armed home owners were Not part of the gangs/looters that were the problem.
