When I was 17 YO I was issued an M16A1 rifle, which is a select fire weapon. I was also trained in the use of and maintenance of other fully automatic weapons as well as grenades and other destructive devices I turned 18 YO in Viet Nam. I couldn't legally buy alcohol, I wasn't allowed to vote. There were lots of things I couldn't legally do because of my age. Was that right?
