Each and every knowing constitutional violation is up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 (or $100,000 - I forget) PER VIOLATION. A violation exists per person who was denied their constitutional right to carry.

Citizen petition to convene a grand jury. Under Article II, Section 14 of the New Mexico Constitution, the district court shall order a grand jury to convene upon the filing of a petition signed by not less than the greater of two-hundred (200) registered voters or two percent of the registered voters of the county.

Rather than being beholden to a Democrat DA or Prosecutor to bring wholely deserved charges against the governor, all you need are 200 signatories to convene a grand jury and haul her grabber ass into court on criminal charges.

This needs to be done. She needs to be crucified for what she tried to do here. Life in prison, penniless from fines for violating every persons' Constitutional rights. They should bring back the death penalty in New Mexico just for this case.

It says THE GREATER of two-hundred (200) registered voters or two percent of the registered voters of the county. The 200 is a minimum requirement in a county where 2% of the population is less than 200 (which would be a population of 10,000). I imagine you would need quite a few more than 200 signatures in most counties.

I also wonder what would actually happen if you theoritically forced the grand jury to convene. Does it not still go to the local DA to prosecute? I admit I don't know, but I assume it would.

In December 2019, a former campaign staffer and spokesperson, James Hallinan, accused Lujan Grisham of sexual battery. According to Hallinan, the incident took place during a staff meeting in 2018. By his account, Lujan Grisham poured a bottle of water on his crotch and then slapped and grabbed his crotch through his pants while laughing. He said the incident happened "in front of everybody".[64]

In April 2021, it was publicized that Lujan Grisham and her gubernatorial campaign, while denying the allegations, had reached a $62,500 settlement with the law firm representing Hallinan. The payment was made in monthly installments of $12,500 from November 2020 to March 2021.[65] Her political committee paid another $87,500 over six months, bringing the total payout to $150,000.

Why is the worst extremist commie dem Rep Ted Lieu of CA speaking out against this Governor's illegal act? It's because the left doesn't want legal precedent to be set with this easy case that the Governor will lose and the people will win. The left still wants to take your 2A rights but by another tactic and they don't want the idiot Governor setting it up to strengthen your 2A right with legal rulings that affirm your constitutional rights.
