Yeah, over here in NZ it was still an optional hobby club at High school in the early 80's, i took it - the HS woodwork teacher (who was an avid hunter) ran it . It was in the motor pool shed (a double wide garage, with the school vans moved out and a backstop inside with the schools concrete block wood bins directly against the outerside) EDIT: For 'reasons' it also was discontinued soon after, iirc.
