She did say "weekend", I seriously doubt she meant to infer combining the two at the same time ... more like shooting with friends during the day and drinking at night. Easily misconstrued by anyone who hasn't had the experience.

I didn't mean to imply you haven't had the experience, how the hell would I know?!, but anyone who hasn't developed respect for guns might foolishly think Boebert meant getting drunk and shooting guns. We are talking about an elected official who packs heat in the House Chambers. She respects guns and is fully trained on how to use them properly. Unfortunately what she said will be misconstrued by those people through their own stupidity lack of understanding. She could have phrased it a little better to avoid any misunderstanding.
Thanks for the clarification. That, I completely agree with….I don’t know much about her, but the post definitely comes off as l”let’s get drunk and shoot!” Maybe it’s because I grew up around rednecks who would do that….
