Oh, sorry. Yes, there is a 120 day "grace" period where you can accidentally loose your "pistol" in a boating accident or either destroy the weapon, destroy the "brace", give all of your personal info to ATF to register your "pistol" or just hand the thing over to the government.

This is the actual truth. I remember telling people the bump stock issue didn't matter and ultimately wouldn't stick. I was called a Jew for stating this.
