I suspect its the same type of deal the CDC did with the jab. I'm sure it will go to court. But in the mean time every gun store in the nation will comply out of fear of litigation and compliance will give the impression that it's ok and they can do that, and then people will think that it can be done cause they did it.

They can't. SCOTUS already ruled any such effort is unlawful and a crime. Require congress and a constitutional amendment.
