People don't understand the nature of the constitution. It is not a list from the government to the people granting rights. It is a list from the people to the government to be enforced by the people onto the government about what kinds of laws the gov is not allowed to make.

It also serves as a premade objective checklist for citizens to reference when their government has become tyrannical and revolution or change needs to be made.

Exactly. ALL of the Bill of Rights were thought out. Yet the 2nd is the only one that says Shall not be infringed. IT IS the defense of ALL of 'America'.
