The basic idea of this legislation is that -No any kind of emergency can't be used as justification for ignoring the 2A and doing gun control in the name of health or safety.

He basically said the bill will stop the government from creating a state of emergency to implement gun control. But how do you prove that that’s why they made the state of emergency? It’s not like the government is going to come out and say that they created an emergency specifically to get gun control legislation...

True: they will just come up with some other reason in the future im sure.

But like he mentioned in the video; this bill is very time relevant to right now. Right now there are millions of idiots who think that health and safety can be used as an excuse for any kind of authoritarian draconian law that infringes on the constitution or others rights.

This bill would just be a way to say, No. not just a back then no. But a no again right now in 2021, and not for health and safety either. I know many liberals who really think that health and safety are a right instead of freedom with risk; ie Liberty
