I guaranty that this will make guns LESS safe. People will just do a detailed strip down and reassemble while leaving out whatever mechanical linkage piece it is that actually blocks the action from operating. If this is somehow directly incorporated into the normal safety mechanisms then you will have a bunch of people walking around with guns that have no safeties at all. If they make it illegal to modify a gun in such way... well we see how well criminals follow gun laws today.

But don't you see THAT'S THE INTENTION OF THE GUNGRABBERS! Anyone who says this is about safety and crime reduction is either a pawn (useful idiot) or a part of the conspiracy. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT COMMON CRIMINALS. THEY WANT TO DISARM PATRIOTS THAT WILL PUSH BACK AGAINST WHAT IS COMING.
Agreed. It's a fine line they're walking, too. How hard can they push those who would likely push back before they actually push back?
