This is an attack on the guns. Background checks, magazine bans, bans in general are one thing but making the maker liable is clever.

Push that. If it doesn't go anywhere then there is a chance the manufacturers will modify the guns on their own out of fear. Fear of being the first to be sued to oblivion. Once they do this the first time, they will do it again if they believe the public wants it. You know, if they watch the news.
