The last time Chris was here he suggested we learn and play hot cross buns, LoL

No, I do not remember you telling me you gave your sister a violin, if you did I forgot about it. Does she play it?

Hot Cross Buns... I can play that on any instrument you put in front of me, probably... It might take me a minute to figure out how the instrument works - 'cause there are some strange instruments out there.

She does play, though she hadn't played in a while 'cause her violin was broken. I guess it was missing a peg and it was made long before they were standardized so she needed a custom peg? Something like that... I figured it'd be like 20 minutes with a dowel and a spoke shaver, but she never got it fixed.

This annoyed me.

I just said fuck it and got her a new one.

I've bought her some strange gifts over the years.

LOL She claimed she'd still be able to play, so I called her on that.

No... No, she can not still play. Man, it was fucking horrible playing - but there was steady and rapid improvement by the end of the night.

So, with a bit of practice she should be able to play like she once could.
