Well, obviously, you have managed to survive so far, so my fears would be somewhat irrational, but they would still persist
With a passenger, especially on a public road with traffic, I won't drive any faster than say 7 out of 10, or maybe 8 out of 10.
10 is the peak of my skill level. It's important to know how well you really drive, which is something one gets when they pay for lessons.
So, that's pretty safe.
When I'm by myself I might drive 10/10 - if the conditions allow it. I never drive faster than I can stop, generally speaking.
There are two things you don't want to hear me say while driving. You don't want to hear me say "oh shit" or "oops". Those aren't things you want me to say.
If I say either, it's gonna be a wild ride.
If your brakes fail any speed is faster than you can stop LoL
