Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

So you're eschewing the manual vehicle for a day to teach her to drive better overall before you add the shifting?

I'm not getting out of bed to drive with her to Farmington and then hanging around all day doing nothing only to wait for her to drive home...

So, she can go back to an automatic 'cause she sure as shit not ready to do it in a manual. There's a lot of downshifting and mountain terrain between here and there.

We'll resume her lessons on Friday afternoon as there's no show for her this weekend.

It does take a bit of getting used to driving a manual. And I can see how a beginner would take their attention off the road

I can't wait until I have to explain that she can only use 4WD if she gets out of the car and locks the manual locking hubs.

And that she has to get back out to unlock them as soon as she can, as remaining in 4WD is generally bad for a vehicle with locked hubs.

Then, I gotta explain why it doesn't turn like expected in 4WD at slow speeds/sharp corners.

The list of shit I gotta teach her is pretty long.

I kinda wish she picked an automatic! LOL

Hell, she shoulda just kept the Defender. I do believe I told her that was an option. The Defender is fucking awesome. It has all the creature comforts, is reliable, is very capable, and looks good!
