I prefer to browse websites that are more text based anyways

Those days are mostly gone.

I am not sure, but I doubt Poal would even work properly in a browser like Lynx.

I visit a few board host message boards quite a bit, those are 90% text with a header and footer photo. I think those would work in the terminal

So long as they don't rely on CSS to control the layout, you should be okay.

When you get internet back and can use a real computer, you can probably try it. Lynx probably has a Windows version.
