They don't take a second look when you appear to belong
I told you the story of how someone had their entire trailer (mobile home) stolen from them 'cause they owed someone money for drugs, right?
I'm not sure, did they hook it to a truck and drive away with it?
Yes, they did. They even put a magnetic sign on the side of the rented truck to appear like a different company. They went in and even made sure it was done safely and looked proper. Hell, they even brought tires with 'em 'cause the trailer didn't have all the tires on it. It took the better part of a morning, but the trailer was in its new home in short order and is still there to this day. Someone, let's call 'em a buddy, was pretty grateful for the trailer. It's got power running down to it, it's got a mailing address, etc... You can't see it from the road, but it's really not all that far from where it was before it was stolen.
They all wore the appropriate clothing, including high-viz vests and hard hats. If you didn't know better, you'd have not even seen them. It would have just been workers going about their work, ignored by everyone.
