I bumped into something neat.
On Windows, you'd press Win + R and then type 'cmd' and press enter. That'd bring you to a command line interface, as I'm sure you know.
In both OSes, I tend to do a lot via CLI - if it's reasonable to do so. I use it because it's easier - or because it's more informative - or out of habit - or because it amuses me...

There are plain text browsers available for that situation, mostly... They won't let you watch a YouTube video in really bad graphics. They're just plain text. You can even use your mouse - something you can't do with the plain text browsers.

I'm not too terribly concerned with them planting evidence. They do everything in at least pairs and everything gets recorded.
