Yes, they did. They even put a magnetic sign on the side of the rented truck to appear like a different company. They went in and even made sure it was done safely and looked proper. Hell, they even brought tires with 'em 'cause the trailer didn't have all the tires on it. It took the better part of a morning, but the trailer was in its new home in short order and is still there to this day. Someone, let's call 'em a buddy, was pretty grateful for the trailer. It's got power running down to it, it's got a mailing address, etc... You can't see it from the road, but it's really not all that far from where it was before it was stolen.
They all wore the appropriate clothing, including high-viz vests and hard hats. If you didn't know better, you'd have not even seen them. It would have just been workers going about their work, ignored by everyone.
Was it fully furnished?
You could call it that, yes...
I wouldn't call it 'well furnished' or anything, but it came with furniture, curtains, some dishes and silverware, a couple of beds, a television, and stuff like that.
They even loaded the stairs into a truck and brought them along with them. In their defense, they still needed stairs at the new location and it would have looked funny if they'd left the stairs behind. They did not bring the propane tank but did call the propane delivery company to have it picked up. Propane tanks have serial numbers on them and the propane delivery truck driver might notice.
LoL and the people living there came home to no house? And they haven't tried to retrieve it?
