I did not make it to work. I woke up freezing at 3AM

My back door was wide open and my furnace would not light. It was -7 degrees overnight. I got my furnace going and closed the door. Went back to bed and shivered myself to sleep and then woke up at noon

Why was your door open - and why was the furnace not working?

I forget how you heat your home... I have a variety of methods, so it's a bit different for me.
