It was nicer back when they still made phones that had a slide-out keyboard.

That was a feature I insisted on for a long time, but they've gone away now.

But, yeah, look for a tethering app on the Play Store and try it. Try a couple, just in case.

I got an app to work for tethering but it is very slow

Slower than your broadband or how slow?

I have slow internet. It works for me. I can stream video at 720p or higher if I'm just streaming and not surfing while downloading stuff.

Yeah with the tethering app I downloaded it was slower than usable, five minutes to load a text page
