Nope. Amusingly, they were a pair of snipers themselves - but with much shittier equipment. They were sniping with like AK-47s. That's fine if you're good and your target is within like 200 to 300 yards. 300 yrds would be pushing it. It's not as accurate as the M-16 platform.
As a Marine, we trained on targets 500 yards away for qualifications. That's unique among regular forces across the globe. You have to do so while in a supported position and while in the standing position. At that distance, the target's just a dot. You're not using a scope or anything.
