I have a whole lot of empty beer cans in the garbage

In Maine, they give you a nickle back for each one. (They charge you the nickle when you buy the beer, and other beverage containers.)

The most cans I've ever turned in where like three truck loads and came to just under $300 (as memory serves).

I usually give my cans to my son and co, just so they take care of them. I've got better things to do with my time.
