It's quite an experience. There are times when I legit miss academia. When I was younger, I expected to always be involved in education somewhere or other.
Amusingly, I still find myself teaching people.
I didnt like it cause the slow pace of learning, I would read the entire textbook and understand it within the first week and other students acted like they had never encountered the concepts when its right there in the book, so that bored me
For the first four years, I'd read my textbook and never touch it again - unless assignments came from it.
Grad school was VERY different. That's a whole new ball game. You will crack. It's just a question of what you do when you crack. The pressure is intense.
By the way, we used to go to UMass games quite a bit. Even though we were Beavers, we'd kinda adopt UMass.
UMass is a division 1 school for athletic competition I believe
