Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask theBuddha, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

And, man... I've missed hearing that drum line during football games.

I was not a member of the school band while at MIT. There was in fact a school band. I just wasn't a part of it. I had no time for that.

I have not been a member of a school band since high school

Yeah, I was in band in school. We had multiple bands and pretty much everyone was in at least one of 'em. I was in stage band, 'cause I played guitar. I was also on the marching band as a percussionist.

It's quite an experience. There are times when I legit miss academia. When I was younger, I expected to always be involved in education somewhere or other.

Amusingly, I still find myself teaching people.

I didnt like it cause the slow pace of learning, I would read the entire textbook and understand it within the first week and other students acted like they had never encountered the concepts when its right there in the book, so that bored me

For the first four years, I'd read my textbook and never touch it again - unless assignments came from it.

Grad school was VERY different. That's a whole new ball game. You will crack. It's just a question of what you do when you crack. The pressure is intense.

By the way, we used to go to UMass games quite a bit. Even though we were Beavers, we'd kinda adopt UMass.
