Also, did they really steal the G? It's a G changed to shape a bit like a football. I'd say that's obvious.

But, I'd love to see this Georgia QB in the NFL. They've got poise, even under the little pressure they have faced. He takes his hits.

He might do well training under Purdy! (Purdy sure is purdy to watch!)

They did not steal it. A packers equipment worker in the 60's came up with the idea of the football shaped G and they put it on the Packers helmets and the next year Georgia called and asked if they could put it on their helmets with red and black instead of green and yellow and the Packers said go for it

Ah, in hind sight it seems 'obvious' to me. Like, why wouldn't you make the G shaped kinda like a football?

It is pretty obvious but it takes someone to express the idea to the right people for it to become a thing
