I remember the guy getting hit in the eye and getting a broken orbital bone and being out of the game for a long time cause of that, but I dont remember him beating the ref, I remember he was pissed though, so he may have

He had a right to be pissed off apparently. He missed three years after that!

Yeah, it seriously fucked up his career. As I recall, he blew the ref off his feet. More importantly, he got away with that. That means the ref stood up to the others and was like, "Nah, I deserved that. It's cool."
