It's not too bad at the local level. They're still not poor people, but they probably don't have millions socked away.

And, well, folks would probably call me wealthy. I'm certainly financially independent. Yet, I refused to continue my campaign. I didn't want to keep checking my ethics and debating my morals. I know what right and wrong are. If everyone in the group is doing the wrong thing, it means it is even harder to do the right thing.

Yup. That'd be way too stressful and I felt it'd be futile. There was 0 chance that I'd make a change in the system.

At least that's what I concluded while ripping into all the drugs and alcohol I could find.
