Hmm... And how many are left? And, that's Jag - during the 80s. They did not sell many cars.

I'd probably have skipped that car, if I was in your shoes - or close to being in your shoes. For that amount of money, you can get a used Honda, Toyota, or even a fairly modern Ford Escape.

None of them are all that interesting - but they're reliable, plenty zippy for a city drive, are comfortable, etc...

I rented a Focus at one point and it was horrible - but they're definitely those things.

Yeah, that'd probably help...

Maybe you could try going to work more often and saving up your money instead of using that money to take time off until you need more money?

Yeah, it'd suck - but you could afford a car! (Or even try fixing your car!)
