Right hand is worse. The left sometimes flares up, but that's far less often.

I get some stupid tendon pains in my left thumb that bother me from an old injury I did to myself years ago, and that sucks

Mine's from earlier in life, working my ass off in a factory - specifically making shoes. I was good. I was fast. I was an idiot. For that amount of money, I shouldn't have worked that hard.

Mine was at work too, I cut my thumb to the bone through the tendon with a razor knife I just put a brand new blade in. What a dumb ass
