I was out at 5k. It's only worth maybe 8 to 10k - on a good day. With auction fees and shipping, it wasn't worth it to me. I'd also plan on reselling it after I had some fun with it.

Also, watch out... This auctioneer constantly confuses 'internet' and 'telephone'. I know why this happens. The people answering the phone and monitoring internet bids all sit at the same table. They're usually off-screen most of the time, usually to the auctioneer's right.

LOL Yeah, they kinda suck with that - but this guy's the worst at it.

He's been with Mecum forever... I have no idea why he fucks it up as often as he does. Then again, he does like to go fast.

The Jeep I'm interested in is maybe worth 18k on a good day. All the shit they've done to it doesn't make it worth more. They're consistently rising in value, so it'll be worth 20k soon enough. If I can get it for 15k, I'll be happy.

See, I don't have to bid outlandish sums. I already have a solid collection.

The Cabellero was the GMC version. Like, Dodge Caravan = Plymouth Voyager = Chrysler Town & Country.

Hmm... 258 is worth maybe 18k...

It's one of the last of that model style, with shitty performance 'cause of the new smog regulations and slow moving tech. It might have a couple hundred horsepower.
