It sucks when things like that happen. I remember that happening to me on a curved on ramp when all of a sudden the back wheels on my XJS let go and my car was suddenly going sideways, I turned with the spin and I did a 360 and continued on my way, there were cars behind me, I have no clue what they were thinking

They were probably thinking "Oh shit!"

That's what I'd be thinking.

It's a pretty short car, so the ass end barely went into the other lane. I was hugging the inside corner pretty hard, aiming for that beautiful apex.

They probably were! At least you did not wreck into a tree or something. Have you got the Porsche up to a thousand miles yet?

Oh, fuck no... It's at like 300ish miles.

I wasn't really going that fast. I just hit the gas pedal at right about the apex so that I could enter the straight section of road at a higher speed. That happened to be on frosty leaves due to the shade, I am pretty sure. I didn't get out and look, but that's what I'm pretty sure was the cause.

So, I'd definitely catch it before hitting anything important. As long as nobody else was in the other lane, I'd be fine. It's got monster brakes on it. I'm very unlikely to bump into anything.
