Does customs look for counterfeit products?

Oh, yes... That's like half of what they do.

I'm kinda amazed that customs lets through what they let through, but they can't be experts in everything.

Stopping counterfeit goods is one of the biggest missions. You might like watching some of those border patrol types of programs.
