I left the house without my phone the other day when we left for work. we had to turn around and get it

LOL I leave it behind on purpose.

If I'm driving something modern, I'm not too worried about breaking down. If I break down or crash, someone'll notice and call 911.

If I break down in a Porsche 911, someone's gonna stop to help. It's a Porsche! They'll stop!

Someone has to go by first in order for them to stop. What if nobody is going by?

Someone'll eventually go by. It might take a bit, but someone's gonna come through. Even out on the dirt roads, someone'll come through fairly often. At most, I might have to amuse myself for a bit before someone comes along. So long as the auxiliary still works, I'll have the radio to keep me company. I could also read the manual, or all the other bits and bobs that seem to accumulate in collectible cars.

I'm remote, but people still come through.

Now, if I were going off road I'd take a phone with me.
