Yeah the guitars that were cheap in the 80's were garbage. I would go to the guitar store a lot looking for something to buy and everything in my price range was terrible to play. There was this flying V that I really liked and that was something like $899, too much for me. Until one day I went and they were having a sale and I got it for $399! Then it was mine. I had an old F hole acoustic from the 30's or 40 that the action was a half inch off the fretboard before that. That sucked.
LOL Imagine the late 60s and 70s garbage.
Let's face it, we had shitty options for cheap guitars when we were kids.
I wonder if today's kids will be saying the same thing when they're our age? If so, guitar-quality would be amazing.
I doubt that the difference will be quite so great when our kids get old. It would be amazing if it were but I don't think its possible
I'd say 'we'll see', but we'll probably be dead by then.
