I suppose. In my experience the damn school busses stop a lot and you are not allowed to pass them

You can pass 'em if they're not stopped and don't have flashing red lights.

We don't have divided roads in the area, so both directions must stop when the lights are flashing. Other than that, you can pass 'em.

I suppose if you can get by them between stops you can pass them. When they are on a 25mph street and stopping every block you dont get a chance

They sometimes go a mile or two without stopping. There's a lot of space between people here and only some of 'em have children in school.

As a general rule, I don't pass the buses unless they pull off to let me pass. It just seems like bad form to drop a gear and pass a school bus at 80 mph. If I'm gonna behave that outlandishly, I might as well drop it two gears and roll a bunch of smoke out from under the rear of the car as I go blazing past. That's just not my style, when children and buses are around.
