I'm supposed to have GLI insurance add a new venture (protecting my interest in a co-owned laundromat) by the close of business today.
The site's barely fucking working. Poal is loading relatively quickly, 'cause it's just text. The other site's giant megabytes of scripts and images for no fucking good reason. Fuck, I hate some of the modern web.
Imagine how quick the 'net would be without that shit. I know I can block it, but then half the fucking sites won't work.
This shit isn't getting done until Monday. Maybe I can get an automated response to cover me over the weekend. I don't want even a single minute of business to NOT be covered by GLI.
Yeah why would an insurance company need fancy graphics and whatnot?
They're also loading every fucking third party script and fonts, every third party framework known to man.
The site is timing out 'cause it takes too long. From watching my network, a single fucking page is about 30 MB in size. That's just to fucking login to the portal. It's fucking idiotic.
30 goddamned megabytes for a web page.
That is just ridiculous. The web master must have been trying to impress
