Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

I found one package here, with two sets of strings in it. Thanks!

You're quite welcome. Enjoy 'em! They're both good, with the electric strings being very good and the acoustic just being good.

You should hear a fairly large difference in tone, volume, and breadth of tone. Both sets are pretty good at bringing the mids up, so also good at cutting through the mix.

I have used Ernie Ball electric guitar strings before, I don't think they said Rock and Roll on the package, just super slinky. Now I can play Rock and Roll

These are a specific Slinky model. They're not all that expensive, about seven bucks as memory serves.

But, they're pretty good. They have a good midrange, a warm sound while still retaining the brights. They're quite bendable and resilient, but not like coated strings.

They're also sealed against the elements, something fairly modern. This keeps them 'fresh' and 'shelf-stable', 'cause strings do age when exposed to the elements. They should last a while before losing their luster.

The acoustic are quite similar. with the goal of increasing volume and clarity. They're quite good for the price. They might have been six bucks.
