Some of the shittiest people I know are 'religious'. More specifically, they identify as Christians (which encompasses a lot of faiths, from non-denominational to Catholic).
And, well, I've traveled the globe. I've met and known a whole lot of people. When someone tells me they're a Christian or that they want to save my soul, that is a red flag for me - just because of prior experience.
It's one of the reasons I could never follow the religion.
Now, the majority of them are probably just fine. But, in my experience, out of the percentage that is not 'just fine' the majority of those identify as Christian. I can't change the numbers - and there are many shitbags that may or may not follow the religion.
My soul is none of their business
I hope my family is better than this family, but I've set up trusts to ensure shit happens without them and I'm leaving them plenty of their own.
Thats probably the way to do it, the trusts, cause obviously people are not to be trusted
