Well, the race is almost over... It was 10 hours long and BMW wasn't in championship contention. They did horrible this year, but they had pretty much no factory participation beyond BMW selling the cars. All the teams in IMSA are privateers. So, that doesn't help. It definitely doesn't help when you don't have the factory backing - and it's pretty much a new platform, the M4 instead of the beloved M6.
