I remember you having bought the lowest mileage Vega on the planet, is that one of the vehicles you want to try to not put many miles on?
I remember my step dad back in the 80's having a 280Z and very rarely ever letting any of us kids ride in it. If the kids were coming, the station wagon is the ride
I will put miles on it, but not many. I could probably put hundreds of miles on it, no tens of thousands of miles on it, and still have the lowest mileage Vega on the planet. It's even the Cosworth version, which is amazing. I doubt even a museum has one with lower mileage, if they even have a Cosworth.
The 280Z has cloth seats. They can be cleaned. I had one when I was younger, but it was pretty beat to fuck. You really can fit four people in one - and it's not that bad in the back, or so I've been told. I never actually rode in the back.
Still waiting to throw the strings on the acoustic, or did you get bored? If you don't work this week, you might get tempted! LOL
I just played and recorded a little bit of the acoustic with the old strings and was going to put the new ones on it now LoL
Assuming you're moving at average speed, I hope you like the strings.
Don't forget to give 'em a good stretching to make 'em hold a tune well. That's not a myth, strings should be stretched.
I strongly suspect you'll be happy with the replacements.
Go for it. I'm not going anywhere any time soon.
