Its hard to imagine that your foliage would be better than what I get here

Kinda? We're the most heavily forested state in the country. But, you should have similar species, as you're not all that far away in latitude.

We're pretty much a giant national forest. It's amazing. We have the most forested state in the country, for good reason and by a large margin.

Almost 90% of the state is forested. Like 18 million acres, almost. A quick look says you're not in the top 10.

We even have (not much) old growth forests. That's pretty much unheard of. I have some places on my property that would never have been cut due to the terrain. So, those trees could be hundreds of years old. I had a state biologist come take a look and core some trees and the oldest one we found was 170 years old but it's technically possible for some of them to have been here since before Columbus sailed the ocean.

We have a lot of trees!
