Those birds of prey make me nervous, so I am not sure if falconry is for me, Especially since you told me about the magpie and the Aussie chick

Oh, they're positively frightening. That's part of the draw. Without tools, that falcon can and will kick your ass. The only reason it doesn't kick your ass is because you're smarter and have opposable fucking thumbs.

Picture yourself naked in a fight with a goddamned bald eagle.

Before you do so, go look at high resolution pictures of their beak and claws. Hell, they don't have claws - they have talons.
