Fucked if I know. It's due to update to a new version but I don't give enough shits to do it at this time. That might resolve the issue. I'm also using a wireless adapter that's only kinda supported by Linux.

dont you have wifi you can connect to instead of tethering to the phone?

Yeah, there's satellite but I'm mad at the satellite company.

One month they completely fucked up - for a whole month - and blamed it on limits. Every other month was mostly fine, but they did it again (just for a few days), so I've been tethering ever since.
