No, it'll piss 'em off - 'cause they know as soon as I am out of their site I'll be pegging the RPMs off the redline and driving faster than they can catch me in their shitty SUV. (They have two cop cars, but only use the SUV - there's only one cop on at a time, except weekend nights when the part-timer is also on duty - maybe...)

LOL Yeah, we don't have much in the way of cops here. I imagine this sounds pretty strange to you, but yeah... There will be one cop on duty and they might not even see me. I'd much rather they see me. Otherwise, someone called them and they're actively looking for me. That's worse.

I used to live in Dyckesville, there was no police force there at all, except the county cops, and Dyckesville was on the way far corner of the county from the county seat so, they weren't around Dyckesvile too much

That's what it's like at my house. The only cops are county cops and state police. State cops make a mandatory run through once a month. County cops only show up when they have a reason. Rangeley cops don't really have any jurisdiction here.
