Yup. That'll make 'em take notice.

But, I really don't want to go back on the opiates right now. They do make it easier while dealing with pain, but they dull your other senses.

They're awesome, but they take a lot away from you. I remember walking out of rehab amazed at all the colors I could see. It literally impacted how I saw the world, on a physical level.

Sure, you're never angry while you're high - but imagine going through the most sever OD symptoms and you're unable to find a vein that works. You've stuck yourself 50 times, but not made a clean hit on a vein. If you miss the vein, you get abscesses that can grow deep enough to show bone. So, hitting the vein is really fuckin' important - and you can't do it.
