I used to live in Dyckesville, there was no police force there at all, except the county cops, and Dyckesville was on the way far corner of the county from the county seat so, they weren't around Dyckesvile too much

That's what it's like at my house. The only cops are county cops and state police. State cops make a mandatory run through once a month. County cops only show up when they have a reason. Rangeley cops don't really have any jurisdiction here.

LOL You're not wrong. In my depths of opiate addiction (before the femur smashing, before you met me) I sought out Fentanyl specifically as my drug of choice.
