You're talking about late 1800's if I understand you correctly. I guess they might not be as playable as those you mentioned, but they have to be more rare.
They're more rare and still worth less - even if perfectly playable. A 40s dreadnought is worth multiples of the other.
(I own multiples of each. I have more Martins from 45 to 55 than you own guitars. They're a brilliant investment.)

LOL If I won a billion dollars, I'd probably give it all away to charitable causes, either directly or via trusts that can ensure perpetual giving.
I don't actually need the money. I might save enough to buy a few more cars. I'm not low on money, I'm pretty low on stuff that's easily liquidated - and that I don't mind liquidating.
