**** INTRO ****

Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

I seen a video recently of someone playing one like that but they werent really playing much from the left handed side

I can kinda play left-handed, but it takes some practice. When I smashed my left hand up, I used that as my picking hand and fretted with the right.

I was actually left-handed as a kid. I did everything with my left hand until kindergarten when a teacher forced me to use my right hand. I still do some things a lefty would do - like bat left handed, snowboard left foot first, etc...

Hmm... By the way, I next need a cheap Telecaster and Stratocaster. Then I need a cheap bass, probably acoustic and electric - with maybe a third one being fretless for that smooth bass tone we all know and love.

That should complete my 'cheap guitar' collection. Well, I should probably have a nylon string classical guitar, but a new guitar player isn't going to be playing classical music (these days). I did. I took lessons. I took a whole lot of lessons. Hell, I've paid for lessons as an adult - called 'master classes' oftentimes. If I find someone better than me, I want to know what they know - and I'll do whatever it takes to learn it, including paying them or jamming with them, or even performing with them to pay for said lessons.

Anyhow... I'm pretty sure it's time to pretend I've learned a song. Except, I don't really want to play the simple stuff. So, rather than playing simple songs, I've been doing rote exercises. I practice scales, bends, chords, tapping, sweep picking, etc...

Also, don't forget...

Today is Friday.

You're opening the FNGT.

Good luck, and may a deity of your choice be on your side!

Yeah, finding a cheap bass isn't going to be too challenging,

I'm upstairs, out on the balcony, like an old man looking out across his estate.

However, I just found the coolest thing...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIt3RHOHefY

The dude is attempting to show a device, unboxing it. He eventually finds the looper and just jams out with his ugly toes on the pedal.

The playing is horrible, really. But, this dude gives zero fucks that it sounds like ass. He don't care. He's like a badger - giving zero fucks what anyone else thinks.

And he keeps going for like 7+ minutes.

It's the greatest thing I've come across for days.
