Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

I hope that those folks are honest and they don't collude against you!

LOL The odds of all three of 'em deciding to say, "Fuck it, I'm going to end up getting caught and going to prison!" are pretty low.

'Cause, they will get caught.

They also can't get very far or very much money. Well, to most folks they could access a lot of money but for me anything larger than 6 figures requires my intervention. They'd be hard pressed to get around that.

They could take smaller amounts, but there's only so much in cash. Liquidating most assets would require my intervention. It'd also take some time.

I'm pretty safe, I figure. My losses would be relatively insignificant.

They'd piss me off and I'd ensure they were prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, but they'd not really do anything of any significance.

I don't just keep liquid assets (cash) sitting around in bank accounts. Bank accounts do pay me better interest than they do you (by virtue of my larger deposits and number of transactions), but they still don't beat the interest rates for pretty much every other (good) investment out there.

That's a good thing. I doubt they would want to get together and risk their way of life and reputation unless they could walk away with fuck you money.

I also do spot checks. I get a number of documents, some as often as weekly, and I can verify the sums easily enough.

I confess, I have been pretty lazy about spot checking, but that's because nothing has so far gone unexplained. I have had questions about where my money went when the name of the receiving company is cryptic or the likes (only so many characters in the name field too). So, I've called to ask questions before - which means they know I sometimes verify stuff.

They could still hide it fairly well - for a while. At some point, they'd get caught.

I am not retarded. I do check on 'em now and then. I also get a giant professionally printed stack of paper, all bound and in a binder, that outlines where most of my money goes. I'm pretty good at spending some without keeping receipts - and doing so in cash. That money just kinda disappears from the record as money spent. Fuck it, they'll tax me on it at a higher rate - as sometimes that money is not supposed to be taxed, like donations or business supplies. I fail to write-off a tidy sum every tax period. It's more effort than it's worth and I like spending cash.
